About this release

“Even the most insignificant and weakest being can finally be reborn by choosing whatever they desire when they reach the end point.” XLOV (XLOV) The 2nd EP ALBUM <I, God> shows the pain and incompleteness in the unfinished love that they have consistently shown since their debut. They have finally become complete from within, reaching the form of a 'god' that no one can ever approach, and after being 'reincarnated', they directly guide those who have the same appearance as those from the past. The main story theme of the debut single <I'mma Be>, 'Chess', flashes back once again, and 'Pawn Promotion' among the rules is intended to be included in this new album. Furthermore, the story that XLOV (XLOV) has conveyed since their debut is not only their own story, but also the story of the public who have seen and heard this story. It also adds a complex message that they, like 'gods', foresaw the public's hearts, sharp reactions, and various emotions, capturing their artistic maturity even further in the album title. Global hot rookie XLOV (XLOV) is shown to have boldly challenged and attempted to further highlight their charm in <I, God>. This album presents the first unit songs within the group, as well as the lyrics written by members 'Hyun' and 'Haru' for the B-side tracks, along with leader and producer Wumuti, who has incorporated his own aesthetics into the group's identity since their debut. They are ready to present fresh 'dopamine' to their fandom EVOL (Ebool) once again. The album features a wide range of musical spectrums within the group, including the jazz-based intro track '法則:THE RULES', the title track 'SERVE' which expresses various colors of groovy bass, the unit song 'Extancy' by members Wumuti and Louis, which combines tech and intense House beats with hyperpop elements, 'BACK 2 BACK' where the oriental feel is added to the strong 808 Bass sound, allowing you to fully experience XLOV's colorfulness, the lively hip-hop unit song 'HIPS' by members Hyun and Haru, combining bass and punched drums, and the EDM-based pop track and final track of the album 'Masterpiece'. This will be a special album where you can taste each and every one of these musical aspects.
